Roses he said,
smells like the breathe on your lips
as you laugh with the summer sun,
bouncing through your hair as you run.

White for your innocent wishes,
and sweet first kisses.                    
When It steals your air
and all the wonderful words you wanted to share.

Silver for strands of moonlight in your hair
the stars reflecting in your eye and mine
the silent nights where all I could do is stare,
cause to look away and risk you disappearing
was something that couldn't be beared.

Golden roses
for the sunny days and summer sunsets     
embraces that hold on as tight as hope
and never really let go, from the first time we met.

Yellow as bright as lightning bugs
for the promises I make
when everything will be alright someday
and the unsetteling doubt thats hard to shake.

Azure for the tears staining your cheeks
the goodbyes in my eyes
and the distance in sighs,
the beat of your heart as It slowly dies.

Black roses
to tear at your heart
marking eveything you ever say
so you remember my name
every second of every day that im away.

Red roses for the end
the passion that crushes your body to mine
the triumph and defeat
the smoldering incompacitating heat
like the feeling of being together,
of finally being complete.
